Vera Conner

December 18, 1952 - March 9, 2008

A life that meant so much to so many for so long...

On December 18, 1952, this earth was blessed to receive a unique gift from God; Vera Anita Conner.

She was the joy of her parents, Mary and Aaron Conner. Having lost her parents a the tender age of three, she was surrounded by the love of her siblings; Dorothy, Annie, Irma, Avery, Bonita (who preceded her in death) and Melvin.  It was a circle of unconditional love where Vera learned the quality of life.

As Vera started life's journey there were some step made along the way. She met a man named James who had two special packages to deliver.  Inside the packages were two sons, Anthony and James (Man-Man). She then discovered her quest for life.

Becoming a mother of "Great Worth", Vera continued showing love and affection to so many others.  Her love was genuine and truly unconditional to those who were in need.

Vera was a hard and energetic worker.  Planting a vineyard of love, giving so much of herself and asking nothing back in return. The Lord, seeing her diligence rewarded her with a very special gift by the name of A.J., her grandson. God knew the love that was within Vera would be the "only" love that could nurture this tiny little person.

The time came when Vera's work was almost complete. She received another gift, but this gift was given to love Vera the way she had loved so many others.  Mike was that gift sent to cherish, love and encourage her until the end.

Vera Conner received eternal rest on March 9, 2008.
