Brashai Griffin

August 20, 1992 - April 4, 2008

 

Brashai Griffin was born August 20, 1992 in Harvey, Ill. She was blessed to have two mothers. Tony Pittman and Patricia Griffin.

Brashai was full of love which was shown to everyone. Brashai was baptized at South Suburban church of God where she was an active member.

"Brashai Griffin was very eager at a young age to work in the church and to demonstrate youth stewardship and leadership. At a tender age she worked as a secretary for the Sunday School, children church program, choir member, oversee craft activities. She helped in the inception of "Girls of Grace."

She took every opportunity to encourage and share her love and care for others.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving mother Patricia Griffin of Sauk Village; grandmother Lula Bennett of Calumet City; Brothers D'Marco Griffin of Sauk Village, Juawan (Kenya) Griffin of Richton Park; aunts, JeannetteBennett and Dorothy Lee both of Calumet City, Paulette (Keith) Taylor of Richton Park, Ruth (Pastor Brady) Richards of Harvey; uncles Don Bennett of Calumet City, James (Chaunteen) Bennett of Hazel Crest and a host of other relatives, friends, church family and special friends Victoria, Treasure, Courtney, Brittany, Megan and Tyler.
